Deerslayer and his Indian friend Chingachgook get to know hunter Tom Hutter and his daughters who live in a little lodge in the middle of a lake.
When attacked by indians Deerslayer, Chingachgook and a white trapper called Harry Marsh help them defense their home. Deerslayer doesn't understand the wild fury of the indians until he learns about Tom Hutters terrible secret...
Lex looks pretty much like Old Shatterhand here, because Horst Wendlandt was inspired by this movie to the ideal cast for Old Shatterhand and the costume as well.
