Content:
A lonesome rider passes a tree where a man has been lynched and arrives at a saloon where some tough looking guys are playing poker. He is puzzled that the men know his name Sam Dichter. And he seems to be worried because he realises that each of those men is a thief or killer who had been executed.
His astonishment turnes more and more to dismay when each time the clock tolls the full hour one of the men gets up and walks out of the door. A shot is heard and the man doesn't return.
At last the clock tolls one o'clock and only Sam Dichter is left ...
"The Night Gallery" was sort of a follow-up to the "Twilight Zone" - weird and fantastic, sometimes eerie tales.
