Dog race track owner Dave Barrett refuses to deal with gangsters. Shortly thereafter his partner is shot and the blame for that crime is pinned on Dave.
His only alibi is that apparently he had a hit and run accident with a stolen car at the same time. Not a very nice situation for Dave...
